Velvento 8 - Flower Power

Throughout the town and the surrounding hills and mountains of Macedonia, wild flowers and fruit are abundant. My aunt Evyenia gave my father some Chamomile flowers because their dad used to dry them at the house to make tea. We also saw wild mountain mint, sage, oregano, hollyhock, berries, kiwis, plums, bouganvillias, geraniums, daisies, and dozens of other nameless flowers. My sister also stood face to face with a flower taller than she is with blossoms the size of a grapefruit! Many people also have grapes growing on their fences or in their yards to make wine with, as most of the liquor and wine in Velvento is homemade, much of it by the Agoratsious!
