Velvento 29 - Agoratsiou Picnic

On our last day, the family planned a traditional Agoratsiou picnic in our honor at the church and picnic site that the family built (shown in and earlier post). When we arrived, the women were busy in the kitchen, the men already had the fire going on the grill, and Giannis handed us all Tsipporo immediately (and pointed to me to, as usual, tag me with: "AGORATSIOUUU").







We took a nice photo with dad's living siblings (except Tsimos, who is still in Australia and couldn't make it for this trip) - (From L to R: Soul sista Shabd, Periklis, Evyenia, Marianthi, PAPA STEFO (of course), Momma Shauna, Me, and Nikooooo (g'dye mate).
















Mom and Shabd learned the traditional Velvento and Greek dances after lunch at the picnic. They had so much fun doing the moves with the Agoratsiou women!
