Naxos 2 - Rooms, Food, and Home Base

Naxos was a wonderful desert island with tons of greenery! We had a bit of a stumble at the beginning of our trip, leading to a hectic and intense day 1 of "vacation"...We then rented a car and drove to another location and fell in love with it. We walked up and down the beach road to find rooms to stay for the week, and did we ever find a great place. There was a great restaurant right next to our place, and we had the only two rooms in the complex. Private service all the way!

Hanging out at the restaurant every morning and afternon, and most nights (haha, this place was great), we had a chance to catch up on the blog. We had fallen behind as the family adventures had been action-packed, filling every second with something interesting to do, see, or hear!

'Our' restaurant in Plaka beach was called "Petrino". It was run by two generations of one Greek family, and they couldn't have been nicer people. We actually became quite good friends with them by the end of the week and they treated us so well as customers as well!

We had some time to relax between the beach and our nightly activities, as the fun and sun we were soaking in wiped us out as well.

The clouds were amazing, and Dad's shirt matched! Another Shabd original linking up with our beautiful universe.

Ready for the beach...Life is good...
