Athens Part IV








No matter where or when we ate breakfast, lunch or dinner, it always consisted of your classic Greek meal: Spanikopita, Tzatziki, bread with olive oil, greek salad, homemade wine and ouzo (for lunch and dinner only of course). For the carnivores in the family (only me!), souvlaki (skewered chicken and vegetables) was the meal of choice. Athens food was still great, but it was quite tourist-oriented and very basic. We really look forward to home-cooking from our newly discovered family.
