14 - New Year's Eve At Irene And Michael's

Off we went to Irene and Michael's house in Balmain to have another family BBQ and see the NYE fireworks over downtown Sydney.





Everyone hung out and had a few drinks while Michael grilled up chicken, steaks, prawns and anything else you can imagine.


Hanging out talking politics with my cousin Theo and dad.



As midnight approached, we packed up the rest of the beers and moved a 30-person caravan through the streets to get to a great view of downtown Sydney from the park.


The fireworks were amazing as they lit up the skyline. They were set off from the bridge, high rises and even some boats by private citizens. 15 hours before the folks at home - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
